Renault UK
Numerous high profile UX and UI projects for this popular car brand.
Working on projects for Renault became a recurring thing between 2010 and 2013, and provided a great opportunity to intimately understand a brand at a much slower and thoughtful pace than I would with most other projects. Work ranged from visual exercises through to deeper UX solutions for key conversion journeys.
Car range
I redesigned the range pages which utlised the same template across all products but could be styled in a way where the sub-brand and imagery could lead the interface. These pages were really important to get right and went through a bunch of variant tests before they were pushed to all users.
Renault UK Press Office
Wireframe concepts for the Renault UK Press Office. At the time a very under-maintained area of their suite of sites. We designed them to be responsive for Press on the move and also providing easy access to downloads and press releases.
We managed to get some numbers back a couple of months after we launched the redesigned model landing pages, and the results were pretty promising:
- +280% lift in clicks to request a brochure
- +60.71% lift in brochure confirmations
- +70.24% lift in visitors going to the offers page
- +158.80% lift in visitors going to the specifications page
Book a test drive
We also redesigned and thoroughly tested the ‘Book a test drive’ experience. The main metrics we tested against were conversion to booking a test drive and the speed to do so.
