Checkout.com
Staff Product Designer: August 2021 – Current
Design lead across enterprise experiences and design systems — shipping complex payment experiences, influencing at executive level, and growing design capability.
- Owned the Checkout Design System from proof-of-concept to org-wide adoption over four years — shipping 50+ components and patterns, establishing governance and contribution models, and reporting usage metrics to C-Suite stakeholders. Led a brand refresh through the system with a lean two-designer, two-engineer team, with minimal disruption thanks to prior investment in component architecture.
- Researched, defined and implemented agentic workflows for the design system — accelerating component creation and documentation, and enabling designers to take work from concept to production independently.
- Led C-Suite buy-in and strategy to implement WCAG 2.2 (AA) accessibility improvements that directly contributed to two merchant wins with $1m+ throughput — where accessibility had previously been cited as a blocker — and strengthened the company's position in RFP processes.
- Defined a comprehensive Analytics strategy, designing and shipping multiple projects that unified payment lifecycle storytelling across Dashboard. In 2026, Checkout.com's Forrester score for data, analytics and insight rose from 3/5 to 5/5 — placing the company alongside Stripe and Adyen.
- Grew design capability across a 31-person design org — directly mentoring four product designers pursuing leadership paths, enabling designers to prototype in real front-end code using AI tooling, and collaborating with engineering to create onboarding guidance for designers contributing to production codebases.

Twilio
Senior Product Designer: February 2019 – July 2021
Delivered across enterprise and consumer mobile at Twilio — bringing mobile expertise to an established contact centre platform and leading a greenfield product from concept to private beta.
- As sole lead designer, took Twilio Frontline from concept to private beta — a consumer iOS and Android app for frontline workers managing multiple messaging channels. Ran a field trial with Nordstrom employees; a testing connector devised under Covid restrictions proved useful enough to ship with the beta release.
- Contributing designer of Flex's programmable component system — a fully customisable UI framework enabling enterprise customers to inject individual components into third-party platforms such as Salesforce. Aligned with PMM to ensure a consistent story from technical documentation through to marketing and sale. Presented Flex at Twilio's annual SIGNAL conference at the Moscone Center.
- Shipped a responsive framework that brought the existing contact centre experience to mobile for agents and supervisors in the field.
